By this time in the afternoon the weather almost didn’t cooperate. But the girls were real troopers through the cold and wind. I had to get rid of some of the “red eye” - no, not THAT red eye… red eye around the eyes caused by the wind. haha

This was in between breaks to run inside to get warm for a few minutes….

Back out…

This family will be building a new home and they mentioned the new lot was down the street, through the woods a bit, and near a stream. Ooooh… the minute I heard stream I said lets do it. It was beautiful… the house back there will be a dream. But along the way I must have picked up a little critter because at the computer that evening proofing I pulled a tick off of the back of my ear. Ugh/blech/ick… Gross little things. It was worth it though, we got some great images. =)

I love when the hats and scarfs appear with the coming of the chilly weather. There’s just something about the added texture and how they frame the face that I fall in love with them each year.
Oddly enough, this little beauty looked exactly like my best friend when I was about 7 or 8. I felt compelled to tell her and she though it was kinda cool! =) No joke… she’s a splitting image. Window light in the attic playroom…

After a game of ring around the rosie…

Parents may get concerned that their children are different from the rest… but the truth is, all kids are the same in so many ways. It may take a while sometimes… but it doesn’t stop me from getting some great images of them being them! =) I’m glad I was able to see these little cuties again this year.

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family this week. What a down to earth and friendly group of people… you can just feel the love and security in this family.
Anyways… as promised, here is your sneek peek! =)
Also, thanks for the referral Lisa. =)
