Moms the best! She’s always made the best stuffing on Thanksgiving. It was always my favorite side dish (and thats putting it lightly). I would have about half of my plate full with stuffing before anything else was put on. I paid for it later… I was um, well…. stuffed! LoL But for about 10 years I’ve been vegetarian… so she makes me my very own dish of stuffing with yummy mushrooms, celery, onions, etc. without the sausage that she puts in for everyone else. Thanks Mom!

And for those wondering what is eaten in lieu of the Turkey… this year it was flounder…. yum!
Happy Turkey Day everyone. I hope you had a great Holiday! =)

By this time in the afternoon the weather almost didn’t cooperate. But the girls were real troopers through the cold and wind. I had to get rid of some of the “red eye” - no, not THAT red eye… red eye around the eyes caused by the wind. haha

This was in between breaks to run inside to get warm for a few minutes….

Back out…

This family will be building a new home and they mentioned the new lot was down the street, through the woods a bit, and near a stream. Ooooh… the minute I heard stream I said lets do it. It was beautiful… the house back there will be a dream. But along the way I must have picked up a little critter because at the computer that evening proofing I pulled a tick off of the back of my ear. Ugh/blech/ick… Gross little things. It was worth it though, we got some great images. =)

I love when the hats and scarfs appear with the coming of the chilly weather. There’s just something about the added texture and how they frame the face that I fall in love with them each year.
Oddly enough, this little beauty looked exactly like my best friend when I was about 7 or 8. I felt compelled to tell her and she though it was kinda cool! =) No joke… she’s a splitting image. Window light in the attic playroom…

After a game of ring around the rosie…

I haven’t updated my blog in forever… and now that things are kind of slowing down I can catch up on a whole bunch of things that I’ve wanted to do. So here’s a look at a wedding from July. They chose to have it on family’s land… The ceremony was on the top of a big hill with beautiful views. Sandra chose to wear a non-traditional dress… how beautiful was she!
Some details…

Getting Ready

The ceremony was done with help by a dear friend…

We had plenty of time to play…. I love that!!

This was the view atop the hill for the ceremony… Not too shabby… =)
